The Spirit of Christmas….
I get it. After all these years. We are flying out Christmas morning on December 25. So with all the Christmas festivities we are squeezing into Christmas Eve I figured id add “Santa coming to visit” on the night of the 23rd to awake Christmas Eve morning to presents for my 1 year old daughter Lily. She’s young enough now, I figured she wouldn’t know the difference anyway. So here we are at 6:28am and Santa has come and Lily has been awake since 5:45am. She woke up wide awake and filled with an excitement like most children on Christmas morning. Even at her young age of 14 months its like she understands and just knows the “big guy” has paid a visit. That excitement inside her, that’s magic and the spirit of Christmas. She’s too young to technically understand, its just something she feels. What a magical thing to see. Since she normally wakes up around 7:30am, I told my parents not to come over until 8! Keeping her upstairs and occupied until then is the challenge. She keeps walking to the steps and looking down. If she could talk she would be saying “mommy let’s go! What are you waiting for?”. Buddy the Elf on TV is trying to distract her for the time being.

On this Christmas, I wish for everyone to feel love and gratitude for everything we have and what CHRISTmas is truely about. And I wish for everyone to allow themselves to be filled with the magic and the spirit of Christmas we felt as chirldren. Its a wonderful thing. Merry Christmas!!!

Congratulations Wendy!!! It was SUCH a hot day on Wendy’s wedding day….who would have known that June 4 would be in the 90’s.  I used a specific process on Wendy of layering products with waterproofing agents to make sure her makeup would last through her outdoor ceremony. Here is what she had to say after the wedding:

“I wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful job you did on my make-up!  I was sweating through the ceremony and all the pictures afterwards; the make-up didn’t budge!  It also lasted through the reception (a night of dancing!) and I had to “wash my face off” at 1 in the morning!  I have attached some pictures for you in case you want to use them for anything!  Thank you!”

Wendy was so excited, her wedding day was June 4 and there was an awesome review for Lindsay and I on Wedding Wire June 5th. :)
